Services for new workers and residents

Welcome to Québec!

A new chapter begins...

A new job, new friends and colleagues, a new city, and a different culture - not to mention a new language to learn. It's an exciting but stressful time for newly arrived residents and temporary workers, whether from other countries or elsewhere in Canada. It requires dealing with multiple challenges at the same time - a situation made even more complex when family members are involved.

Beyond the administrative challenges, you need additional support in order to succeed in your new environment:

  • learning French

  • familiarization with public services and resources

  • an introduction to the city, its residents, culture and history

  • practical help in navigating daily life.

A global approach to your needs - and those of your family as well.
